現在は、日本旅館『翔峰（しょうほう）』で副女将の修行をしています。留学した日本で働くのが夢で、縁あって長野県松本市の企業に就職しました。そして、この春は旅館の副女将になります。

宿泊業界はまだコロナの影響が続いています。ノエルさんは副女将になって、今後戻ってくる外国人観光客に「和のおもてなし」をして、宿を盛りあげたいと話します。

Noelle Reiers became interested in Japan at a young age through anime and manga, and learned karate and judo. She is from Beek en Donk, a city in the southern part of the Netherlands.

Currently, she is training to be an assistant landlady at the Japanese inn “Shoho”. It was her dream to work in Japan, where she studied abroad, and by chance she found a job at a company in Matsumoto, Nagano Prefecture. And this spring, she will be the assistant landlady of the ryokan.

The lodging industry is still under the influence of Corona. Noel says she hopes to enliven the inn by providing “Japanese hospitality” to the foreign tourists who will return in the future as a assistant landlady.
