What do you think about wearing masks?
Minasan wa masuku no chakuyō ni tsuite dō omoimasuka?
マスクをすることはとても良い予防策だと思いますが、ずっとつけているのは大変です。
I think wearing a mask is a very good preventive measure, but it is hard to wear it all the time.
Masuku o suru koto wa totemo yoi yobōsakuda to omoimasu ga, zutto tsukete iru no wa taihen desu.
特に夏の暑い時にマスクをするのは息苦しいし、暑くて、つらいです。
Especially in the hot summer months, it is hard to breathe and it is hot and painful to wear a mask.
Toku ni natsu no atsui toki ni masuku o suru no wa ikigurushīshi, atsukute, tsurai desu.
私は夏にマスクをつけるのは嫌になりました。
I have grown tired of wearing a mask in the summer.
Watashi wa natsu ni masuku o tsukeru no wa iya ni narimashita.
でも、日本では、いつでもずっとマスクをしていなければいけません。
But in Japan, you have to wear a mask all the time, all the time.
Demo, Nihon de wa, itsu demo zutto masuku o shite inakereba ikemasen.
多くの人が必ずマスクをするべきだと考えているからです。
Because many people think that you should always wear a mask.
Ōku no hito ga kanarazu masuku o surubeki da to kangaete iru kara desu.
私は、マスクは必要だとは思いますが、人のいないところや屋外ではマスクを外しても構わないと思っています。
I believe that masks are necessary, but I don’t mind taking them off when there are no people around or outdoors.
Watashi wa, masuku wa hitsuyō da to wa omoimasu ga, hito no inai tokoro ya okugai de wa masuku o hazushite mo kamawanai to omotte imasu.
日本は他の国々と比べて、入院率も死亡率も非常に低いので、
Japan has a very low hospitalization and mortality rate compared to other countries,
Nihon wa hoka no kuniguni to kurabete, nyūinritsu mo shibōritsu mo hijō ni hikuinode,
夏の屋外など、必要のないところではマスクを外すようにすれば良いと思います。
so I think it is fine to remove masks in places where they are not needed, such as outdoors in the summer.
natsu no okugai nado, hitsuyō no nai tokoro de wa masuku o hazusu yō ni sureba yoi to omoimasu.
